Dry Coatings
We
offer air dry wet spray coatings for virtually any sized
component that can be man-handled. Our water curtained
spray booth is 4.5m wide making it suitable for virtually
any task.
Polyester
Two Pack Wet Spray: Two pack polyester coatings
offer excellent resistance against weathering, colour
dilution, abrasion, and a wide range of chemical attacks
on both ferrous
and non-ferrous metals.
Applications
are widespread including
ship superstructures, bridges, aircraft, high quality structural steelwork,
food storage warehouses, abattoirs, hospital environments,
chemical
processing environments, railway rolling stock, road tankers, high quality commercial
vehicles and building facings to name a few.
Two
pack polyester is also ideal for refinishing applications
and is generally used by us for our refrigeration refurbishment
work.
Polyester
two pack systems are also ideal for anti-graffiti
coating applications. This is because of its resistance
to the solvents or chemicals that may be used to remove
substances such as permanent marker pen or aerosol paint. However, it is not
a specialist anti-graffiti
coating system.
Epoxy
Two Pack Wet Spray: Two pack epoxy coatings provide extraordinary
adhesion, toughness and flexibility combined with a high
degree of chemical resistance; and combines
excellent mechanical properties with
a high degree
of resistance
to corrosion even under severely exposed
conditions.
In
particular two pack epoxy coatings perform
well in environments exposed to chemical attack
and tests have shown
that fully cured films will typically resist any
of the following chemical exposure tests: dilute hydrochloric
acid, 10% nitric acid, 10% phosphoric acid,
50%
sulphuric acid, 20% caustic soda, ammonium hydroxide
and calcium hydroxide. Resistance to hydrocarbon,
ester and ketone solvents is also very good, likewise
resistance to hot oils, fats and waxes.
Typical
applications include high performance structural steelwork,
chemical plant, sewage plant, high performance flooring,
offshore and marine work.
